APARTMENT IN KIPSELI
AG. MELETIOU, ATHENS
In the historic neighborhood of Kypseli, on the second floor of a typical Athenian apartment building, this 100 sq.m. apartment was renovated. The apartment’s original layout was preserved as it had been since the building’s construction. Particular emphasis was placed on preserving and highlighting the original flooring materials, including the wooden herringbone parquet, the colorful terrazzo floors, and the white marble windowsills. The kitchen and bathrooms were completely redesigned in order to be functionally and aesthetically modernized.
